versus UNION OF INDIA & ANR ..... Respondents Through Mr. V.S.R. Krishna, Adv.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A. K. CHAWLA
O R D E R
% 05.07.2017 By the petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the communication no. TI/Gen/Master/Vendor/Pt/2017 dated 27.4.2017, which invites the vendors to apply with all details and documents (purchase orders and supply details etc) by 20.5.2017 for being placed in the list of approved source. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner is not required to make any such application inasmuch as, the petitioner is otherwise qualified for being put in the said list.
In addition thereto, ld. Counsel for the petitioner has adverted to a circular no. 2001/RS(G)/779/7 Pt.I dated 29.6.2017 that has come to be placed before the Court during the course of hearing and it is strenuously contended that even in view of the said circular, the petitioner does not require to make any application, being otherwise qualified to be put in the list of approved source vendors inasmuch as, it records in para (a) as per existing instructions of
Board, there is no category of vendors as development vendors. In view of the contention raised on behalf of the petitioner, ld. Counsel for the respondents states that the instant petition shall be treated as a representation of the petitioner, which shall be disposed off by a speaking order within five days from today taking into account the circular no. 2001/RS(G)/779/7 Pt.I dated 29.6.2017. It is ordered accordingly. Petition stands disposed off accordingly. Dasti under the signature of the Court Master. A. K. CHAWLA, J JULY 05, 2017 rc
