% 26.10.2016 The petitioner before this Court is the son of deceased Smt. Raj Kaur. Raj Kaur was stated to be a squatter at Bangla Sahib, Ashoka Road.

By way of this petition, the petitioner who is the son of deceased seeks substitution qua his deceased mother. On advance notice, learned counsel for respondent No. 1 has put an appearance. His submission is that after the promulgation of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, the case of the petitioner can only be considered by the Town Vending Committee (TVC). It is not in dispute that the TVC qua respondent No. 1/New Delhi Municipal Council has since been constituted.

This petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the TVC.
