% 01.05.2017 The petitioner, who is said to be of 92 years of age, having a mentally challenged son, has approached this court seeking protection at the hands of respondent nos.3 to 7 who have unauthorisedly entered in the premises belonging to the petitioner.
Mr. Mehra, learned Standing Counsel submits that pursuant to the complaints and orders of this court and the court below, FIR has been instituted for offences under Sections 442, 406, 420, 468, 471, 406 IPC with the aid of Section 120B IPC as FIR No.150/2017 (P.S. Safdarjung Enclave). The copy of the FIR has also been sent by post to the petitioner. Mr. Mehra further submits that the investigation in this case shall be expedited.
Let the investigation of the aforesaid FIR be also supervised by DCP (South District). The investigating officer shall furnish his report on regular basis to the DCP (South District), who shall monitor the investigation and would ensure that the case is taken to its logical conclusion. Till the investigation of the case is completed, considering the fact that the petitioner is a very old lady with a special child, all protection be afforded to her.
Beat police shall be stationed near the house of the petitioner who shall keep an eye on the happenings in and around the residence of the petitioner.
The mobile telephone number of the SHO has already been furnished to the petitioner. The petitioner can, in case of any distress or emergency contact the SHO of the police station who shall promptly respond to the calls.
With the above observation, the petition is disposed of. Dasti.
