O R D E R

% 24.10.2016 Petitioner has prayed for quashing of the FIR No. 126/2013 under Section 354-A/509 IPC registered at Police Station Binda Pur on the complaint of respondent no. 2.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 are neighbour. It is noted that a cross FIR No. 329/2014 under Sections 354/509 IPC was also registered at Police Station Binda Pur on the complaint of Gurjeet Kaur (wife of the petitioner) against the husband and son of respondent no. 2.

The said FIR has been quashed today by a Bench of coordinate jurisdiction in Crl. M.C. No. 3941/2016 in view of the

compromise arrived at between the parties. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and submits that she has entered into a compromise with the petitioner and his wife of her own free will and without any undue influence, pressure and coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the above facts, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 126/2013 under Section 354-A/509 IPC registered at Police Station Binda Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
