HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 19.02.2016 After some hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been instructed to withdraw revision petition and that he would be moving an appropriate application for amendment of the pleadings in the eviction petition for which liberty has already been granted by the impugned order of the additional rent controller.
He submits that the petition has been pending before the additional rent controller for the last five years and he would request that the additional rent controller may be directed to expedite the proceedings having regard, inter alia, to the fact that petitioner is a senior citizen aged 80 years. The learned counsel for the respondents submits no objection to such request being made to the additional rent controller.
The revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The learned Additional Rent Controller is requested to hold expeditious proceedings bearing in mind the advanced age of the petitioner.
