% 27.10.2016 Petitioner and respondent no.2 are known to each other. FIR No.296/2015 under Sections 354(D)/509/506 IPC was registered at police station Defence Colony on the complaint of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 has alleged in the FIR that petitioner had been harassing her from 2013 onwards.
Petitioner was sending dirty, weird, vulgar messages on her phone. He also called her on landline at odd timings. He also sent massages to her friends wherein levelled allegations on her character. Petitioner and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes vide compromise deed dated
6th April, 2016.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that she has condoned the acts of petitioner and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.
Keeping in mind the nature of offence and the fact that the parties have settled the matter and respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No.296/2015 under Sections 354(D)/509/506 IPC registered at police station Defence Colony is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
