% 29.11.2016 It is stated by the respondents' counsel that refund orders have been processed.

Respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the refund and the interest and ensure that the entire and up to date interest along with principle refund due is remitted to the petitioner's account within a week. A direction is also issued that the interest shall be paid from the date it became due and not from the date of furnishing Form-9 and the calculation of interest shall be indicated. In case there is any discrepancy, the petitioner is at liberty to apply to the VATO who shall decide the application within a month of its presentation.
