% 27.10.2016 Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to refund the security deposit of the petitioner deposited in 2008 in terms of the Award of the contract for operation and management of on-board catering service (TSV) in Train No. 2993-94 and 2735-36. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite various letters and reminders the respondents have failed to refund the security deposit. A perusal of the paper book reveals that the petitioner's representations have not been disposed of till date.
Consequently, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioner to file a fresh comprehensive representation within a period of ten days. In the event the representation is filed within the stipulated period, IRCTC is directed to dispose of the same within a further period of four weeks by way of a reasoned order.
