CRL.M.C. 4036/2016 This is a petition under Section 440 Cr.P.C. read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. moved by the petitioner for reduction of surety amount. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a poor person unable to arrange the surety amount. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by the Court of Mr.Deepak Garg, Special Judge, NDPS vide order dated 14th October, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the amount be reduced down to Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/-.

Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the same.

Looking upon the abovementioned facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner is stated to be a poor person, his personal bond and surety bond is modified and reduced from Rs.2,00,000/- to Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only).

The present petition is disposed of accordingly. Copy of the order be given dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
