Application is disposed of.
W.P.(CRL) 3155/2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR No.155/2016 under Sections 354/354(A)/342 IPC was registered at police station New Friends Colony. Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that she had gone for interview to Kritika Arts on 22nd April, 2016. Petitioner was taking interview. While taking interview, petitioner misbehaved with her and touched her inappropriately on her waist and hand. Respondent no.2 and petitioner now
have settled their disputes vide compromise deed dated 20th October, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that she has compromised the matter of her own free will without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.
In the above facts, more particularly that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.155/2016 under Sections 354/354(A)/342 IPC registered at police station New Friends Colony, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
