% 17.11.2015 The petitioner is aggrieved that he has not been considered for appointment to any Central Armed Police Forces. He had appeared in the recruitment process conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in 2011.

After notice was issued, the respondents have filed the counter affidavit. The respondents dispute petitioner's assertion that he had secured 56 marks in the written test. They, on the other hand, contend that the petitioner in fact secured 52 marks and this was below the cut-off for the OBC candidates who had opted for selection from the UP quota. It is submitted that for such quota, the cut off was 58 marks for SSB, 61 for BSF, 74 for CISF and 61 for CRPF. In these

circumstances, the Court is of the opinion that the petitioner cannot claim a direction for appointment.

The writ petition is devoid of merits and consequently dismissed.
