O R D E R

% 08.02.2017 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 311/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 323 IPC and 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection Children) Act, 2016 against the petitioners at Police Station Tilak Marg. Respondent nos.2 to 4 and the mother of respondent nos.5 to 7 - who are minors are present. They all are identified by the Investigating Officer. The parties have arrived at a settlement on 15.10.2016 which has been placed on record. Under the settlement, an amount of Rs. 6,670/- have been paid to respondent Nos. 2 to 4 today in court in cash and they acknowledge receipt of the same. An amount of Rs. 1,15,000/- by way of pay order

has been paid to Smt. Sunita Devi-mother of respondent No.5; an amount of Rs. 1,12,000/- by way of pay order and Rs. 3,000/- in cash has been paid to Smt. Ishwari Devi-mother of respondent No.6; and an amount of Rs. 1,15,000/- by way of pay order has been paid to Smt. Usha Devi-mother of respondent No. 7, today in court. The complainants state that they have not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that they have entered into the settlement out of their own free will. The complainants further state that they join the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
