O R D E R

% 30.06.2017 Present petition has been filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of the FIR No.608/2016 under Sections 341/506/509/34 IPC registered with police station Shalimar Bagh, Delhi on the ground that the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties.

It is pertinent to mention that petitioner no.1-accused and respondent no.2-complainant are husband and wife. Learned counsel for the parties have drawn this Court's attention to the compromise deed dated 14th June, 2017 executed between the parties. They state that the matter has been amicably resolved.

Respondent no.2-complainant is personally present in Court and she has been identified by her counsel as well as by the

Investigating Officer of the aforesaid FIR. She states that in view of the aforesaid compromise deed, she is not interested in pursuing the aforesaid FIR. The factum regarding compromise/settlement deed has been verified and confirmed by the Investigating Officer. Consequently, this Court sees no purpose in continuing the present proceedings any further and accordingly, FIR No.608/2016 under Sections 341/506/509/34 IPC registered with PS Shalimar Bagh as well as any other consequential proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner voluntarily states that the petitioner would deposit Rs.10,000/- with Delhi Legal Services Authority within a period of one week. The aforesaid statement is accepted by this Court. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
