% 21.12.2016 Respondent no.6 is wife of petitioner.

Respondent nos.3 to 5 and respondent nos.7 to 9 are the relatives of respondent no.6. Petitioner and respondent no.6 are living separately. They are litigating in different Courts in Rohini District Courts.

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. It is alleged that he apprehends danger to his life from respondent nos.3 to 9, inasmuch as, he was assaulted on 29th August, 2016. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that FIR No.622/2016 under Sections 324/34 IPC has already been registered at police station Begumpur on the statement of petitioner with regard to the said incident. It is submitted

that petitioner has not named any person in the FIR. He has stated that he was beaten by unknown persons.

Investigation is pending.

It is further submitted that on the complaint of respondent no.6, FIR No.1132/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act has also been registered at police station Begumpur. Investigation in the said FIR is also pending.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that beat staff has already been sensitized.

Telephone numbers of the concerned police officials have also been provided to petitioner. It was found during the visit to house of petitioner that he has also installed CCTV cameras in his house. Learned counsel for respondent nos.3 to 9, on instructions of respondent nos.6 & 7 present in Court, submits that petitioner was not threatened or beaten by respondent nos.3 to 9 nor they have any intention to cause harm in any manner to him.

Writ petition is not pressed in view of statement of Learned Additional Standing Counsel.

Disposed of as not pressed.
