% 27.10.2016 Crl. M.A. No.16866/2016 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

CRL.M.C. 4033/2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.1058/2015 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 354A/ 506/ 509 IPC against the petitioner at Police Station - Mehrauli.

Issue notice. Mr. Katyal accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Respondent No.2/ complainant is also present in Court and she accepts notice. She is represented through counsel, who has filed his Vakalatnama. He identifies respondent No.2.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 03.10.2016, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that she has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that she has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The complainant further states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
