% 04.11.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 4th November, 2015 passed in LPA No.790/2015, whereby the petitioner's transfer orders dated 15th January, 2013 and 4th February, 2013 were quashed. Learned counsel for petitioner states that though the transfer orders have been quashed, yet the respondents are treating the period between 16th February, 2013 and 18th November, 2015 as period not spent on duty and are not granting any benefits including seniority for the said period.

This Court is of the view that while the impugned transfer orders were quashed, there was no specific direction to treat the period between 16th February, 2013 and 18th November, 2015 as period spent on duty.

Consequently, the present contempt petition and the application are dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
