O R D E R

% 09.08.2017 The petitioner has challenged the order of the Family Court whereby he was directed to pay an amount of Rs.40,000/- per month as maintenance to his wife and child, the respondents.

During the pendency of this revision petition, a settlement has been arrived at and the spouses are now living together under the same roof. It has been submitted that now, the petitioner, on his own accord is paying Rs.40,000/- as maintenance to the respondents. The aforesaid assertion of the petitioner has not been refuted by learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

As such, a request has been made to permit the withdrawal of the present revision petition in view of the settlement having been arrived at. But the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has pointed out that pursuant to the orders of this Court, an amount of Rs.41,225/- had been

deposited with the Registrar General of Delhi High Court. That amount, it has been requested, be directed to be released in favour of the wife of the petitioner.

The Registrar General is requested to return the aforesaid amount to the wife of the petitioner on her making an application for the same. The aforesaid return would be made after verifying the facts and identify and the Registrar General shall also obtain an endorsement of the wife of the petitioner that she has accepted the amount of Rs.41,225/-. With the aforesaid observations, this revision petition is disposed of. Dasti.
