O R D E R

% 27.10.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.617/2015 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 279/337 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station - Kirti Nagar. The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by his counsel. The parties have arrived at a settlement. As per the settlement arrived at in mediation, to which the insurance company is also party, the insurance company shall make payment of Rs.1,05,000/- to respondent No.2/ injured. It was agreed that the petitioner shall make payment of Rs.25,000/- to the

injured. The said amount has been paid in cash to respondent No.2 in Court today.

The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
