% 30.06.2017 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct the interview of the petitioner for the post of Junior Executive (Airport Operations) by declaring the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to appear in the interview as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondents have not allowed the petitioner to participate in the interview on the sole ground that he did not possess a LMV licence. He contends that the same was never an

essential qualification or part of the eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Executive (Airport Operations).

However, a perusal of the paper book reveals that in the advertisement issued by the respondents for appointment to various posts, including the post of Junior Executive (Airport Operations) under the head Selection Process it was clearly stipulated that for the post of Airport Operations, LMV licence is essential.

Reading the advertisement issued by the respondents in its entirety, this Court is of the view that LMV licence is an essential requirement for the post of Junior Executive (Airport Operations). Accordingly, present writ petition and applications being bereft of merit are dismissed. MANMOHAN, J (Vacation Judge) JUNE 30, 2017 rn
