Issue notice. Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice. 2.
Vide order dated 27th March, 2017, this Court directed the petitioner to deposit 50% of the demanded amount of Rs.21,83,596/- with the Municipal Tax Tribunal. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner approached the Tribunal to deposit the amount but was told to deposit the amount with the tax authorities.

The order dated 27th March, 2017 is clarified to the extent that the Municipal Tax Tribunal shall accept the amount directed to be deposited by this Court.
The petitioner is also given liberty to prepare an FDR in the name of the Municipal Tax Tribunal for the directed amount of the period of one year and deposit that FDR with the Tribunal within a period of two weeks from today. It is further clarified that the amount deposited by the petitioner shall be subject to the final outcome of the appeal.

The application is disposed of in the above terms. 5.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under signatures of the Court Master.
