Bahrampore-Farakka Highways Ltd v. National Highways Authority Of India
$~38 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 230/2018 BAHRAMPORE-FARAKKA HIGHWAYS LTD ..... Petitioner Through Ms. Shruti Arora, Adv.
versus NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AUTHORITY OF INDIA ..... Respondent Through Mr. Rajiv Kapoor and Mr. Srikant Sharma, Advs.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER
O R D E R
% 17.09.2018 Issue notice.
1.1 Mr. Kapoor accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 1.2 Learned counsel says that he does not oppose the prayer for extension of time as the only thing left to be done by the Arbitral Tribunal is to render the Award.
The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 23.03.2017. The record also shows that on 21.04.2018, parties mutually agreed for extension of time by a period of six months. I am informed that the time for rendering the Award will come to an end on 21.09.2018.
Given the fact that the matter has been reserved by the Arbitral Tribunal for rendering the Award, I am inclined to extend the time for the said purpose by another three months, which will commence from O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 230/2018
21.09.2018.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
