The 16 petitioners have filed the present petition praying inter alia for setting aside the tentative seniority list dated 07.08.2018 of the members of the respondent no.2/society.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 hands over a copy of the letter dated 07.09.2018 addressed by the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) to the President of the respondent no.2/society on the subject of the objections received from members on the draft tentative list dated 07.08.2018. In the said letter, the RCS has directed the President of the society to prepare the final seniority list on the basis of the documents provided by the claimants and the W.P.(C) 9641/2018

records available with the Managing Committee of the society at the earliest. Letter dated 07.09.2018 is taken on record. 3.

We are prima facie of the opinion that the present petition is pre-mature inasmuch as the final seniority list is yet to be drawn in respect of the members of the society.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states on instructions that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition while reserving the rights of his clients to file objections to the tentative list drawn by the respondent no.1. Leave as prayed for is granted. 5.

The petition is disposed of as not pressed along with the pending application.
