Counsel for the petitioner states that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner/Society and the respondent, which was duly taken note of in W.P.(C) 2711/2013 that was disposed of on 18.09.2017 on the basis of a consent order. He states that now the respondent herein and some other members have to make a consolidated payment to the petitioner/Society to the tune of Rs.8 lakhs and in terms of the settlement, part payments have already been made.
