O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 231/2018 This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the work of construction of new Integrated Terminal Complex at Chandigarh awarded by the respondent to the petitioner no. 1.

The learned counsel for the respondent who appears on advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court.

Having considered the submission made in the petition and the no

objection expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period of four months with effect from today.
