This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 25 B (8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 impugning the judgment dated 27th March, 2015, whereby the application of the petitioner seeking leave to defend has been dismissed and allowed the eviction petition of the respondent. 2.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties have entered into settlement as per which the petitioner has agreed to vacate the suit property on or before 31st May, 2020. An undertaking of the petitioner to the effect has been placed on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has agreed that he shall continue paying the monthly rent @Rs.566.50p and electricity and other charges till the time of vacation of the tenanted premises to the respondent/landlord during this period. RC.REV. 321/2015

Learned counsel for the respondent submits the respondent has no objection for granting the time as agreed to the petitioners for vacating the suit property.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that in view of the settlement entered into between the parties whereby the petitioner has agreed to vacate the suit property by 31st May, 2020 and also to clear the dues of rent and electricity/water, if any, payable by that date, this revision petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement between the parties. 6.

Accordingly, the revision petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties.

The parties shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the settlement and undertaking furnished by him in the Court. 8.

LCR be sent back alongwith copy of this order. 9.

As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
