The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that damages be awarded to victims of an incident that occurred on intervening night of 6th and 7th June, 2009; the building bearing no. E-48/6, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II, had caught fire and had collapsed. The incident

resulted in casualties.

The learned counsel for respondents 5 and 6 has handed over a status report which indicates that a charge sheet had been filed against the director of the company which was in occupation of the said building at the material time and evidence has been recorded in the said case. 3.

Insofar as interim compensation is concerned, the learned counsel appearing for Delhi State Legal Service Authority (DSLSA) submitted that no victim and/or their family has approached DSLSA for interim compensation and in the event any such person approaches the authority, they shall do the needful.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to approach Delhi State Legal Service Authority (DSLSA) for processing their claim for interim compensation, if any. VIBHU BAKHRU, J NOVEMBER 21, 2017 RK
