O R D E R

% 16.12.2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR No.0056/2011 under Section 420 IPC was registered at police station Jait Pur against petitioner.

Disputes, which had arisen between petitioner and respondent no.2 in respect of immovable property, had led to the registration of present FIR. Respondent no.2 and petitioner have settled their disputes amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 23rd October, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion. He further submits that he has received the entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the nature of disputes, which are of civil flavour and that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
