Transfer in exercise of powers under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 is sought of HMA No.413/2017 titled "Dev Goswami @ Ravinder Kumar Vs. Preeti Goswami" pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Rohini Courts, Delhi to any other Family Court at Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on the ground of a petition under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner / wife pending in the Karkardooma Courts and the petitioner / wife also residing along with her parents within the jurisdiction of the Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. 2.

Notice of the petition was issued and the counsel for the respondent / husband appears.

The counsel for the respondent / husband states that the father of the petitioner / wife is in Delhi Police and the brother of the father of the petitioner / wife is in Uttar Pradesh Police and the petitioner / wife and her mother have been lodging FIRs against their neighbours and the respondent / TR.P.(C.) 97/2017

husband apprehends that the purport of calling him to Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, is to have him implicated in some case. 4.

The counsel for the petitioner / wife, on enquiry states that the father of the petitioner / wife is posted as a Head Constable in Police Station Gandhi Nagar, East District.

The apprehensions of the respondent / husband are such which do not permit this Court to allow transfer.

Dismissed.

No costs.
