% 20.03.2017 Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.1241/2014, under Section 379 IPC and 135 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Jamia Nagar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bill raised as per the FIR is Rs.1,84,185/-. He further submits that the matter has been settled for an amount of Rs.1,65,800/- with the complainant/respondent No.2 amicably and the said amount has already been paid to the respondent No.2. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. is present before the Court and informs that the petitioner has paid the settled amount and that the respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably, no

useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.1241/2014, under Section 379 IPC and 135 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Jamia Nagar and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
