UNION OF INDIA ..... Respondent Through:

CORAM:
HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE SANGITA DHINGRA SEHGAL
O R D E R
% 08.11.2016 1.
By this writ petition filed as Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner seeks to espouse the issue regarding establishment of Indian Judicial Service on the lines of IAS and IPS for selection and appointment of Judges. 2.
The very same issue was raised by the petitioner in W.P.(C) No.5854/2016 which was disposed of by order dated 11.07.2016 directing the Ministry of Law and Justice to look into the issue and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law.
3.
Mr.Manish Mohan, the learned CGSC, who appeared on behalf of Union of India on advance notice has brought to our notice that in terms of the order of this Court in W.P.(C) No.5854/2016, an order was passed by the respondent on 12.08.2016 and the same was already communicated to the petitioner.
4.
However, the petitioner who appeared in person, claims that the said order dated 12.08.2016 has not been received by him. We, therefore, directed the learned CGSC to furnish a copy to him. Accordingly, a copy of
the order dated 12.08.2016 has been furnished to the petitioner today in the Court.
5.
Under these circumstances, there is no need to entertain this petition. 6.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to renew the prayer in this petition, in case necessity thereof arises.
CHIEF JUSTICE SANGITA DHINGRA SEHGAL, J NOVEMBER 08, 2016 'anb'
