O R D E R

% 17.01.2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.192/2011, under Section 354/34 IPC, registered at Police Station R.K.Puram, New Delhi. Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there was a misunderstanding between the parties resulting into registration of the FIR No.192/2011, under Section 354/34 IPC, at Police Station R.K.Puram, New Delhi. Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties at the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi which has been reduced into writing on 26.07.2016. Counsel further submits that the petitioners have complied with the terms of the said settlement dated 26.07.2016 and submits that since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties, no purpose would be served if the same is put to trial.

Counsel further submits that since nothing remains to be adjudicated further, the present FIR is coming as a hurdle in the way of the petitioners to lead better peaceful life in near future and prays that the aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant is present in Court today and has been identified by the IO SI Subhash Chand, P.S. R.K.Puram, New Delhi and admits the factum of amicable settlement with the petitioners and further submits that the said settlement reduced into writing on 26.07.2016 is voluntary and without any force, pressure or coercion and further admits compliance of the said settlement on behalf of the petitioners and submits that nothing remains to be adjudicated further between them and further submits that she has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed. Looking into the aforesaid facts and circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing remains to be adjudicated further, to meet the ends of justice, I deem it appropriate to quash the aforesaid FIR.

Consequently, to meet the ends of justice, FIR No.192/2011, under Section 354/34 IPC, registered at Police Station R.K.Puram, New Delhi and all subsequent proceeding arising therefrom are hereby quashed. The present petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti to the parties, as prayed. I.S.MEHTA, J JANUARY 17, 2017/'dc'
