The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning an order dated 24.01.2017 passed by the Deputy Director of respondent no.2 (DUSIB), whereby the allotment of shop no.40, Block No.4, Trilok Puri, New Delhi (hereafter 'the shop') has been cancelled. The shop has also been sealed. The petitioner claims to have acquired the shop from one Shri Hira Lal, who was allotted the shop by DUSIB. It is the petitioner's case that the shop was acquired for good consideration (`48,000/-) and he is

entitled for the allotment to be regularised in his name. DUSIB disputes the same. It is the case of DUSIB that the shop was allotted to Shri Hira Lal in order to rehabilitate him and his family and, as such, it was not open for Shri Hira Lal to alienate the same.

It is noticed that the petitioner had already filed a civil suit for permanent injunction before the Senior Civil Judge, Karkardooma Court. The petitioner has also preferred an appeal under Section 45 of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board Act, 2010 before the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.

Since the petitioner has already availed other remedies, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition at this stage. 5.

The same is, accordingly, dismissed.

It is clarified that this order would not preclude the petitioner in pursuing his other remedies.
