By way of this application filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking directions for his release on bail in the event of his arrest.

Vide orders dated 8.1.2016 the petitioner was ready and willing to pay ₹2 lakhs in lieu of the personal belongings including jewellery of the complainant and had handed over to the complainant a draft amounting to ₹1 lakh. Further amount of ₹1 lakh was promised to be paid on the next date of hearing.

Remaining payment of ₹1 lakh has been made to the complainant today in Court vide pay order No.394766 dated 21.03.2016. 4.
Vide order dated 17.06.2015 following order has been passed:
"The present application has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuing directions to the investigating officer/arresting officer that in the event of his arrest he be released on bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that she has been instructed to make a submission that the matter be referred to the Mediation Centre for settlement, if any, between the parties. The petitioner is also present. Both the parties shall appear before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 06.07.2015 at 3.00 p.m and try to resolve their disputes. List before the roster Bench on 20.07.2015 for awaiting the report of the Mediation Centre. In the meanwhile, in the event of arrest of petitioner, he shall be released on bail on furnishing the personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/arresting officer till 20.07.2015. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required by the police and shall not leave the Country.

Order dated 17.6.2015 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. In the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail on furnishing the personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/arresting officer.

Petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required by the police and shall not leave the Country without permission of the Court. Dasti.
