O R D E R

% 25.11.2016 (1) The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.197/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Kirti Nagar. Status report is on record. (2) I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the complainant and have examined the file. By an order dated 22.06.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has since joined the investigation. The petitioner present in person informs that the matter has been settled with the complainant and pursuant to the settlement, certain payments have BAIL APPLN. 1237/2015

been received by her. Other payments are to be received at different stages of grant of divorce and quashing of FIR. (3) Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to anticipatory bail and in the event of his arrest, he be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `50,000/-with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer with the condition that he shall join the investigation as and when required.

The parties shall abide by the terms and conditions of the settlement arrived at and in case of default, the complainant/State will be at liberty to approach this Court. (4) The bail application stands disposed of.
