% 23.11.2016 Marital discord between respondent no.2 and husband of respondent no.2 had led to registration of the present FIR No.160/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at police station Ambedkar Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioner nos.1 to 4 are the relatives of husband of respondent no.2. Husband of respondent no.2 died even prior to lodging of FIR by respondent no.2. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Counselling Cell, Family Courts, Saket, New Delhi. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI

Kamlesh Kumar PS Ambedkar Nagar.

She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners, on her own free will and without any force, coercion and undue influence. She admits that she has received her articles, which were lying with the petitioners.

She further admits having received the entire settled amount. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances, in the interest of justice, FIR No.160/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Ambedkar Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
