W.P.(C) 10841/2016 The petitioner claims to be a street vendor since 2007 and claims to have been running his stall at NDSE Part-II at the side wall of A-41, beside the colony gate on tehbazari basis. In support of this plea, two challans of 2007 and 2015 have been placed on record.

After some hearing in the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition be treated as a representation to the South Delhi Municipal Corporation(SDMC). Learned counsel for the respondent, who enters appearance on behalf of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation while accepting notice, submits that this writ petition will be treated as a

representation and shall be placed before the Town Vending Committee(TVC) as and when it is formed. We are dissatisfied with the answer to the query raised by us as to when the Town Vending Committee would be formed. Learned counsel has no answer to the same. While disposing of this matter with a direction that this writ petition shall be treated as a representation and placed before the Town Vending Committee since various other matters are pending, we direct the Commissioner, South Delhi Municipal Corporation to file his affidavit in any of the pending matters which are likely to be listed on 09.12.2016 giving details as to when the Town Vending Committee would be formed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
