% 28.11.2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR No.257/2006 under Sections 193/195/406/409/420/506/120B/34 IPC was registered at PS Patel Nagar against the petitioners. Petitioners and respondent no.2 are present in Court and submit that they have settled the matter amicably before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 11th August, 2006. Terms of settlement have been recorded in the proceedings before the Learned Mediator (Annexure P3). Respondent no.2 submits that he has already received the entire settled amount.

He further submits that FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No.257/2006 under Sections 193/195/406/409/420/506/120B/34 IPC registered at PS Patel Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
