O R D E R

% 14.09.2018 The learned counsel for the parties submit that the lis has been amicably settled between the parties by way of a Memorandum of Understanding dated 12.09.2018, whereunder an amount of Rs. 2 lacs is to be paid to the respondent by way of deferred payments through cash amount of Rs. 25,000/- and seven cheques of Rs. 25,000/- each, as scheduled in the said Understanding. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that indeed it is so and that he would not pursue the matter any further, if the said monies are paid. The learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over seven cheques of Rs. 25,000/- each to the learned counsel for the respondent. He submits that the same are good for encashment. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner undertakes to abide by the terms of the aforesaid MoU. The Undertaking is

accepted. Let an affidavit of the Undertaking be filed within two weeks. Since the parties have settled the lis amicably, no further orders are required at this stage. The impugned order is set aside. The petition is disposed-off.
