% 23.02.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 29th July, 2016 passed by a Division Bench of this Court whereby petitioner's writ petition was directed to be treated as a representation and to be disposed of within eight weeks.

Respondent's writ petition which was directed to be treated as a representation has now been disposed of by the Assistant Registrar of the Cooperative Societies vide letter dated 7th February, 2017. Consequently, present contempt petition and application are closed. However, the petitioner is given liberty to challenge the aforesaid letter dated 7th February, 2017 in accordance with law.
