% 14.12.2016 The matter is listed today as 12.12.2016 was declared a holiday. The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.106/2013 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 354B against the petitioner at Police Station Moti Nagar. The complainants are present in Court with their counsel. They are identified by the Investigating Officer as well. The parties have arrived at a settlement on 08.11.2016, which has been placed on record. The complainants state that they have not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that they have entered the settlement out of their own free will. They further state that they join the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.
Respondent No.2, the mother of respondent No.3 states that they have forgiven the petitioner on account of his promise to mend his ways. They are also concerned about the fact that he is a young person and his career should not be spoiled.
The petitioner is present in court and he apologises for his conduct. He also assures the court that he shall not indulge in such conduct in future as is alleged against him. To atone for his deeds, he is also willing to be subjected to appropriate costs.
Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed subject to the petitioner depositing Rs.20,000/- in the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund within four weeks. Copy of the proof be provided to the I.O. and whereafter the case shall be closed. Dasti.
