% 15.12.2016 The petitioner has filed the present writ petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus with direction to produce/recover the missing daughter of the petitioner, namely, Nandani Tripathi.
Nandani is present in Court. She states that she has married Ravendra Pratap Singh out of her own free will and she is residing with him and his parents. She further submits that she had left the parental home of her own without any coercion or pressure from any quarter. Ravendra Pratap Singh also submits that he has married Nandani; his parents have accepted the marriage and he shall be responsible for the well-being of Nandani.
Parents of Nandani have met her. They have also reconciled to the marriage and undertake to the Court that they will not interfere in the day-to-day life of their daughter and her in-laws. Similar statement is also made by the husband of Nandani.
In view of the fact that Nandani has been produced in the Court, the petition is disposed of as not pressed.
