O R D E R

% 30.11.2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.1690/2014 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 354A(1)(i) IPC against the petitioners. The complainant is present in Court. She is identified by the Investigating Officer.

The parties have arrived at a settlement dated 27.09.2016, which has been placed on record. The petitioner submits that the alleged incident in question is a result of misunderstanding. He, however, submits that he is

willing to atone for the same and leaves it to the court to pass appropriate orders in that respect.

The complainant states that she has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that she has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The complainant further states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed subject to deposit of Rs.10,000/- with Prime Ministers' National Relief Fund. The same be deposited within four weeks and the receipt whereof be tendered to IO, and whereafter the case shall be closed.
