By the present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India the petitioner seeks to impugn the order dated 25.7.2016 by which the written statement filed by the respondents No.6 and 8 was taken on record. It is the submission of the petitioner that there is no plausible explanation given for the long delay of 270 days in filing of the written statement. 2.

A perusal of the impugned order shows that the trial court has noted that for the past two consecutive dates no effective hearing in the proceedings have taken place as the Presiding Officer of the trial court was on training. Hence, it noted that no prejudice was caused to the petitioner as on the last two dates no proceedings could be held. Noting that the respondents are government agencies, the trial court has taken the written statement on record.

In my opinion, there are no reasons to interfere in the impugned order.

The impugned order has permitted filing of the written statement in the interest of justice.

The present petition is dismissed.
