% 21.12.2016 Status report filed by the respondent has been taken on record. Report of the Medical Officer Incharge, Central Jail No. 4, Tihar, New Delhi dated 5th December, 2016 shows that petitioner is suffering from "Pott's Spine" (tuberculosis of spine) and is receiving treatment from Government hospital as also from G.B. Pant Hospital. As per the latest medical report dated 20th December, 2016, MRI LS Spine with whole spine screening is to be done at G.B. Pant Hospital on 11th January, 2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is suffering from acute pain; even consulting doctor of Neuro-Surgery Department, G.B. Pant Hospital advised strict bed rest on
1st November, 2016.
Even though medicines are received from the jail. Petitioner wants to get his MRI done and show the same to a private doctor at an early stage.
Keeping in mind the medical condition of the petitioner, it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendent.
On completion of parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it upon the petitioner and for compliance. A.K. PATHAK, J.
