The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 630/2016 registered under Sections 394/354/506/34 IPC at Police Station Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. Status report is on record.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and examined the file. By an order dated 18th November, 2016, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. 3.

During the pendency of the bail, it was informed that the matter has been settled between the parties vide settlement agreement dated 24th December, 2016. The settlement agreement signed by the parties is on record. None has appeared on behalf of complainant to deny the settlement. BAIL APPLN. 2356/2016

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the settlement, proceedings initiated by him under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act have since been withdrawn.

Considering all these facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 40,000-/ with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/ Investigating Officer concerned. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

Terms and conditions arrived at between the parties vide settlement agreement dated 24th December, 2016 shall be complied with. 7.

The Bail Application stands disposed of.
