By this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.673/2016 under Sections 379/324/506 IPC registered at PS Uttam Nagar on the complaint of one Anant Kumar.

The allegations in the FIR by the complainant are that on 30th August, 2016 when he returned back in night, his nephew informed that petitioner had stolen one T-Shirt and Legging from the shop. When the complainant enquired from him initially the petitioner refused. On the complainant asking money, the petitioner refused to pay, started quarrelling with him and attacked the complainant on the stomach.

As per the MLC, the injury to the complainant is simple in nature.

During the pendency of the investigation, the matter has been settled between the petitioner and the complainant as stated by the complainant who is present in Court and identified by the investigating officer. 4.

Considering the nature of the offence and the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties, I deem it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that he will join the investigation as and when directed.
