Cont.Cas(C) 1278/2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 10th May, 2016 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 4129/2016 whereby the respondent was directed to decide the petitioner's representation dated 12th September, 2013 within a period of eight weeks by way of a reasoned order.
In the present petition, it has been averred that despite the aforesaid order, respondent has not decided the petitioner's representation with regard to change of name in Matriculation Certificate till date.
Mr. Atul Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No.1, who appears on advance notice, has handed over a copy of the letter dated 29th November, 2016 which has been issued to the respondent No.2-School. The same is taken on record.
Mr. Atul Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No.1 states that if the petitioner surrenders the original documents and deposits the requisite charges, the revised documents shall be issued/dispatched to respondent No.2-school.
Learned counsel for petitioner states that in the event the original documents have not been submitted, the same shall be furnished within a period of one week.
In the event, the said documents are supplied or are already available with the respondents, the revised documents shall be issued to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.
With the aforesaid observations, present contempt petition stands disposed of.
