Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking a writ of habeas corpus thereby directing the respondents to produce his daughter, namely, Ms.Pinki. 2.

As per the petition, the daughter of the petitioner left the company of the petitioner on 3.3.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner learnt that his daughter had married to one, Shubham, respondent no.4 herein. Since the daughter of the petitioner had expressed her desire to live with respondent no.4, the petitioner did not interfere in their matrimonial life. On 3.11.2016, the petitioner received a call from hid daughter, who informed him that she has been deserted by respondent no.4, who is also maltreating her. On 8.11.2016, the petitioner learnt from the neighbours of the locality that his daughter has been deserted by respondent no.4. The petitioner enquired

about the whereabouts of his daughter from the parents of respondent no.4. The petitioner apprehends danger to the life of his daughter at the hands of respondent no.4 and his family members. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State enters appearance on an advance copy and has handed over a status report in Court today. Ms.Pinki and respondent no.4 are also present in Court in person. Ms.Pinki submits that she has married respondent no.4 out of her own free will, voluntarily and she is happily residing with him. Respondent no.4 also submits that he takes full responsibility of Ms.Pinki.

In view of the statements made by Ms.Pinki and respondent no.4, the petitioner, who is present in Court along with his counsel, submits that no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same may be disposed of.

Accordingly, present writ petition stands disposed of in view of the statements made by Ms.Pinki and respondent no.4. Ms.Pinki and respondent no.4 shall be bound by the statement made by them in Court today.
