1. Notice. Learned counsel, as named above, accepts notice on behalf the Respondents.

2. Counsel for the Respondents states that if time-bound directions are issued regarding processing of the refund claim of the Petitioner, it shall be duly complied with. Accordingly it is directed that the Respondent will process the refund claim of the Petitioner and pass the refund order within four weeks from today. The refund amount along with the interest accrued thereon be directly credited in the Petitioner's bank account within one week thereafter.

3. The Court further directs that the DVAT Department will abide by the above timelines. In the event that the Petitioner has any grievance either on account of non-payment of the refund amount together with interest as directed or non-compliance with any of the above directions, it would be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

4. The petition is disposed of.
