% 23.12.2016 CM No.47981/2016 Heard both parties.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances explained in the application, more particularly keeping in view the fact that the appellant has already taken a demand draft for a sum of Rs.5 lakhs, we consider it appropriate to extend the time for complying with the directions in W.P.(C) No.9835/2016 by 3 weeks.

Accordingly, we direct that the balance amount of Rs.12.5 lakhs shall be deposited with the respondent No.1 within 3 weeks from today. The LPA No.646/2016

bank guarantee for a sum of Rs.17.5 lakhs shall also be furnished within the said period of 3 weeks without fail.

We place on record that the demand draft bearing No.089068 drawn on Punjab National Bank, Connaught Place Branch, New Delhi-110001 dated 15.12.2016 for a sum of Rs.5 lakhs has been handed over by the learned counsel for the applicant/appellant to Mr. Manish Mohan, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 today. The application is accordingly disposed of.
